Where and when is the event?

Vandalia MO at the Vandalia Fairgrounds 1501 S Main St, Vandalia, MO
May 18th to the 22nd 2027

What does my ticket include?

Your ticket includes access to all talks, workshops, and community activities during the event.
Meals and accommodations are separate.

What is the refund policy?

There are no refunds.

Can I transfer my ticket to someone else?

Yes if you can not attend you may sell or transfer your ticket to someone else. Just email homesteadinglifeconference@gmail.com to do so.

Are there tickets for kids?

Yes children 14 and under are free but you need to reserve a ticket so we have a head count.

Are there hotels by the event?

Yes, there are hotels in Bowling Green MO like the super 8 and in Perry MO the Junction inn and air b n b places to stay. You can also stay in Hannibal MO at the holiday inn express and many other national chains.

Can I camp at the event?

Yes we have DRY CAMPING available no showers no hook ups for tent campers, car campers, and RV folks.
You will need a separate ticket for camping.
One ticket for your party for camping, same car or RV.
Only 1 ticket needed per vehicle.
WE DO NO ALLOW FIRE PITS WHILE CAMPING
You can also camp for free at the Vandalia Lake by the event or go to the Cozy C Campground and RV Park if you need hookups.

If I camp can I use a generator?

Yes, you can use a generator that you provide in a safe manner.
You will need to turn the generator off at 9 pm at your site.

Are there showers and bathrooms at the event?

We have restrooms and porta potties all over the event area.
THERE ARE NO SHOWERS

Are there kitchen facilities available?

No, there are no kitchen facilities on the property.

Are there picnic tables available?

There are tables at the event, but you can not move them around.
You can use them where they are under the pavilion.

Will food be available on site?

Yes, we have a food stand that sells farm raised beef for hamburgers and the Amish will have a stand selling food as well.

Can I bring my own food?

Yes, no alcohol!
No fire pits!
Small camping stoves are OK.

How do I get there?

You can fly into Lambert St Louis airport and rent a car. It is about a hour and 10 minute ride from the airport.

Is parking available?

Yes, the parking is included in the ticket price
No sleeping overnight in the car in the parking area.
We will direct you on where to park when you arrive.

Is there a shuttle from he airport to the event?

No.
